about me
I was born in Germany and began my creative journey as a photographer, drawn to the beauty of capturing emotion in a single frame.
But over time, I felt a deep desire to tell stories that moved—literally. That calling led me to study cinematography and directing at the renowned Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf. It was an incredibly inspiring time, and I’m grateful to have graduated with honors.
My graduation film, TRANSPORT, was a heartfelt project that earned the German Camera Award for Best Cinematography and was invited to the Berlinale Film Festival. It even went on to win the US Kodak Cinematographic Award at the Palm Springs Film Festival.
After film school, I found myself stepping into the world of commercials—an exciting, fast-paced playground for creativity. I was fortunate to meet like-minded collaborators who believed in bold ideas, and together we created some truly unique pieces, including Renault’s “Crash Test” and “Ballet,” Runnerspoint’s “Faster,” and Volkswagen’s “Spoonful.”
My work resonated far and wide, winning a wide array of national and international awards such as:
Golden Pencil at One Show New York, multiple Golds from the ADC (Art Directors Club) Germany, Gold VDW Award, Silver ANDY Award in Automotive, Gold Award of Montreux, Bronze Lion at Cannes, Gold Comprix, Winner at Cannes Festival for Best TV Campaign, Client Award “Kontakter” for Best TVC of the Year, Silver Eurobest, Gold NYF TV for Automotive, Cresta Award, Clio Award—among many others.
Over the years, I’ve had the joy of working with incredible brands like Renault, Volkswagen, Mercedes, Honda, Nissan, MediaMarkt, Siemens, Škoda, Sixt, Nivea, Generali, Runnerspoint, IKEA, Nestlé, Ferrero, EOS, McDonald’s, MAN—and the list continues to grow.
Creativity has always been the driving force behind everything I do. I don't just enjoy visual storytelling—I love being involved early in the conceptual process. Collaborating on ideas, finding the emotional core of a story, and shaping the visual language from the ground up is something I find deeply fulfilling. The best results, I believe, are born when we dream together from the very beginning.
Let’s see where the next story leads.
